THE STORY
A genius who chose the ordinary.
Jami Causey was the kind of child who made adults excited about young minds of the future. By nine she was solving equations that silenced rooms; by eleven the violin in her hands didn't sing so much as weep and burn. Every door was open to her — conservatory, the gifted track, a future mapped in awards and early admissions.
At twelve, she closed them all.
She did not want the life they had drawn for her. She wanted the ordinary one — the slow weekday, the unremarkable afternoon, the friendship no one had to earn a prize for. A Million Little Thoughts follows Jami at fifteen, three years into the quieter life she chose, as she learns that ordinary is not the same as simple, and that a mind like hers does not switch off just because she asked it to.

THE COVENANT
This is not a blog. It is a sanctuary for the written word — a serial novel released chapter by chapter, in the old way, where the author and the reader walk the same dark corridor and neither knows what waits at the end of it.
SERIAL RELEASE
A new chapter arrives each week. No bingeing. The silence between chapters is part of the story.
MARGIN COMMENTARY
Subscribers unlock the author's handwritten notes in the gutters — the architecture beneath the prose.
THE INNER CIRCLE
A private ledger tracks your passage through the series. You do not read alone.

Sophomore Year
For most of the day there was an air of excitement, especially for the sophomores. Our annual fall ball was announced. We were elated, because this is an event freshmen are not allowed to attend, so this will be the first year to we get to participate in some upperclassman fun.
